Hey... In Here, You Will Be Safe

Hey… in, here you will be safe explores the reconstruction of women's instinctual capacity for self-trust and inner listening. The piece begins with a question: what happens when women stop fulfilling the roles assigned to them by society? Through a web of interdependence, three performers navigate care, repetition, tenderness, and rupture.

The movement unfolds through cyclical actions—rocking, offering, and holding—shaped as much by resistance as by containment. As the dancers oscillate between obedience and intuition, the work begins to crack open: a shift toward listening inward, toward reclaiming agency and embodied knowledge.

Rather than offering resolution, the piece lingers in the quiet friction between social expectation and personal truth. It is a choreographic meditation on how we care for one another, what it takes to care for ourselves—and the courage to ask who we are without roles.
